So, the car drives normally but now when i use the clutch the pedal stops about 1/2 inch from the top momentarily then lifts itself to the rest position. Feels like a sticky seal?
No leaks as i can see. Clutch was done 18 months and about 10k ago, using genuine parts.
Started doing it thismorning and was still doing it on the way home.
Brake fluid level looks ok.
Anyone had this?

Feels expensive!

I did give it a couple of quick pumps with the engine off when i got back to see if it changed anything. But it made no difference.

As i sead above, it functions exactly the same as it always has.
Clears the gears, bite point is the same etc etc.....
Just the weird thing at the top of the pedal.
Doesn't feel like air in the system.
Maybe the brake fluid is naff.

hmm. Mine does it sometimes since i had aggro with my clutch but i think it just needs another bleed cos after pumping its fine.

I guess if its nothing else the plastic and ball joint could be overly worn but i doubt it.

Well, i just went out for a look. And all seems fine.
Thing is i did find 3 floor mats stacked up in the footwell. And the top one is very curly lol
Had a wash n hoover the other day. They must have chucked them in the drivers side.
I'll see how it goes but i dont want the car to let me down..
