theyre not

jubilee clips, there just metal spring clips and what happens by the looks of things is that the metal clip has worn the aluminium nipples on the flange as the car accelerates. i've managed to use an exaust clamp lol which has squezed the pipe a little but will hold it for 2 weeks before i get the part. By the way rash sorry if you meant that i put some jubilee clips on it. It's a bad design in my opinion.

i had this a few weeks ago. Seat wanted £76 + Vat for the little 90 degree metal pipe that has the flanges on it. there was absolutely NO WAY i'd be giving them that kinda money, so...

I just used a meaty jubilee clip expectin it to be a temporary measure, but i've been flat out for the last 2 weeks A/B roads and it's held up no bother.

Hope that helps. Mine's a remapped 130 sport.

The bit of pipe by the headlight is £20 from any dealer, buy it and fit it yourself in a few minutes. Mine blew off in January (on my birthday), a local garage jubilee clipped the pipe in place whilst the part was ordered. When it was delivered i went to pick it up and they said they'd fit it for free too so i gave him a few beer tokens for his 2 minutes work

Well my original pipe stayed in place for 90+k miles, hopefully this one will do the same.
The smoke is a result of the fuel not burning correctly because of the pipe not being connected that's all mate.
