Afternoon guys, ok here is the problem....

17964 - Charge Pressure Control: Negative Devation - P1556 - 35-00 - -


At the moment, it randomly goes into gimp mode, when its not in gimp mode it has no power (no turbo feel) until 3.3k and then it runs out by the usual 4.1k!

Its been to a stealer twice.... they say the turbo is fine and have tried to fix it with little things, like a random sensor (cant remember the name!) they mentioned the acturator (spelling?!) and something else!?

At a lose tbh, help!?

from a quick read id say you aint getting enough air or the maf is f*cked

Sounds like my problem, 3.5k and im away with a turbo boost for 600k

Think ive had the MAP changed, and something else, they said if that doesnt work try a EGR valve next?!

Cant they just fix it the first time with all these damn bits!

sounds like a sticky actuator or vac leak hence next to no boost, someone with vag com can work this thro' - do a search
