Heya all

just a quick post to see if any of you have come across this before

Enginne Management light has come on (gettin it read on sunday to find out the fault code)

I've noticed a slight drop in performance (slightly feels like a lack of boost but cant be 100%) but more noticeable was an increace in fuel consumption :(

Its an 04 LC TDi 150

any help would be great :)

thanks in advance

Tim

maf knackered?

could have a split hose somewhere resulting in boost leak.... like you say get a fault code then youll be able to diagnose properly.

go out to your motor, unplug the maf and drive for a very short time, see if it feels better, if it does then its your maf..... if not then maybe a split pipe somewhere.

could also be a dodgy lambda sensor, or a problem with the cat, with you saying the fuel consumption is poor
