Poor fm Reception

Can anyone tell me how to improve my fm reception as it is well basically shat? I have just bought a jvc kd-bt11(bluetooth) unit had it installed correctly but cant get a decent reception apart from the crappy local station? I have a roof mounted aerial which is all ok so ????.

I dont suppose you know of anyway I can improve this ?To be honest it's the missus who listens to radio more than me I can cope very much with mp3 etc,I suppose the other way around it is to not let her drive it he he?

Some people have to use a booster, you could check that number 7 in the below pic is still getting 12v as it would have done originally.
(in the lower 1/3 of the pic supply connectors)

what you need mate is Aerial booster,you can buy them on ebay .... type in...

(pc5-52 seat leon amplified iso-iso Aerial adaptor) this will do the job worked for my lcr
