anyone ever thought of putting a polo gti dash in the ibiza?

i think the gti dashes look ace, especially with the blue and red lighting! and you can put an aftermarket headunit in! :)

anyone seen in done?

no , i reckon it would look cool though , would be a nightmare getting the climate control to work though , i have seen a couple of golfs with tt dashs in though with the climate control working as well

i was thinking of the early polo gti dash, mk5 polo?!

im pretty sure it would fit between the pillars! but like nick says, it would be difficult to get the climate control to work!

im sure an auto electrican could sort it out!

good mod! :)

the right man could put the blue leds into your dash for you..... i know a guy had the blue leds into his phone so it lit the same as his polo dash.... so anythings possible.

That would look sweet. I find that when i drive my dads Golf the blue lighting is easier on the eye than the orange, when driving at night.

i was wondering this the other day

i got a facelift cordoba (mk3 ibiza shape) so i also have to put up with the gash dash
anyway, fitted the head unit into the tray under the centre console and it looks **** tbh (something id probably change back before i sell the car on)

also my door cards have no speaker grills as i didnt know theyre built crap and not designed to pop off haha (basically i snapped them)

i was thinking of converting to a 6n2 dash and doorcards, only problem is the heater controls
but im guessing the heaters are the same parter, just the way of controlling it is different so i assume its just a case of running new wires to the new controls?

but, would a 6n2 dash actually fit a mk3 ibiza?
are all the fixings going to be in the same place
in a sense, plug and play?

anyone done it before? cant find any pictures
