Pollen filter and remap/clutch question

Before having an oil service carried out tomorrow, I changed the air and pollen filter on my 184 TDI today.

Can someone confirm the correct orientation of the pollen filter? I'm sure I have seen somewhere that the airflow arrow should point down. My original filter, fitted from the factory, had the arrow pointing up. So I have fitted the new one facing downwards. Is this correct?

Also, the car is out of warranty now. After it's been serviced tomorrow, I'm considering a remap. I have read lots about Revo, and do want to go with a map that is well known and doesn't stress the car too much. Any recommendations other than Revo? And is the standard clutch in the 184 TDI up to the extra power and torque? Used to have a Focus 2.5 ST and a remap destroyed the clutch. Cheers.
