Ok

Ive now just payed someone off here for a boost gauge they hadnt got round to using. Next question, is it worth paying extra for a nomad pillar pod or should i just get a universal one?

My pillars are cream by the way

simple choice, you can either make it look like it was (kinda) meant to be there, or have it obviously stuck on. People who got in my car with the nomad pillar assumed the gauge was a factory fit.

The only other option i'd consider is mounting gauges instead of the centre airvents.
