If not where can i get a crash bar, dealers quoted me £360 plus vat

According to VAGCAT boards, the part number should be 1M0805551C. Classed as a cross member. Don't take that as gospel though. Not sure on price.

yeah thought i had just got away with snapping the brackets on the headlights but the crash bar has bent and pushed what i think is the horn into the radiator

Rang the garage that removed it to fit my new one last week to see if they still had it and they've binned it. Sorry mate I would have let you have it for pennies too

Good job I took the rest of the bits home.

Put up a thread in the wanted section. Loads of people have got forge intercooler which makes the original crash bar redundant.

1p, isnt that for mk2 leons?
