How in the name of all things good do you get the front headrests off!?!

I've got a set of seat covers to fit and 4 the life of me cant get the bloody things off!?!

Give me a hacksaw!!

press the little 'clip' on the side of the bit that's attached to the seat, and slide the headrest out.... easy peasy

as you look at the top of the seat where the headrest goes in there should be a button to the side on the black plastic bit. Just push that in and pull the headrest out.

If your having difficulties I will take a pic if need, but its quite simple

I've fitted seat covers and that before in other cars but never had this problem before. The "flicker" thats been mentioned just isnt there! It's on the wifes corsa but i've got 4 of these...

pull?? wiggle?? stick a flat blade down the gap? lol

Yeeha! I went and sussed it!
Start behind the seat...

And pull the headrest up. Then pull up on the grey cover with your hand or (like hayley said) get a flat blade under it! (i used it flat screwdriver.)
It should lift off... like this...

On the left hand side you can see the head off a retaining clip, i used my screwdriver to hook this and pull it out...

Theres the bugger! Do the same to the other side & hey pressto...

No headrest!
