Play MP4 files on media app using USB/SD card

I have seen people ask this question before however I was unable to get any answers. I have tried putting mp4 videos onto a usb drive and sd card however the system only plays the audio and does not show the video file. Is there any way round this? The video files are 720p. My system version is attached in the picture. Any information would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I may be wrong but I thought only MIB High units would play video from USB or SD card. I think some systems will play video from a phone with a 'screen mirroring' hack of some kind.

The user manual says this over video replay capabilities:

● Video playback in these formats: MPEG-1
and MPEG-2 (.mpg, .mpeg), ISO MPEG4,
DivX 3, 4 and 5 Xvid (.avi), ISO MPEG4 H.264
(.mp4, .m4v, .mov), Windows Media Video
10 (.wmv, .asf).

I should get my Ateca this week so can have a play. I've had loads of Audi cars and got video playback to work - usually with a .avi wrapper and we need to know the screen resolution of the dash panel - it does require the use of a file conversion tool to generate compatible files.
