Plastic welded bumpstrips

I have heard a few ppl mention about plastic welding the bumpstrips to smooth the bumpers but does anyone no how its done as i did a search but cant see anything. I have done the lines across the bottom of the bumpers already but wanna no how to do the rest

that dont tell me why people plastic weld the bumpstrip when flushing it has the swanage lines flushed which i have done

but if you want to smooth and remove the bumpstrips surely you would remove them all together

you could remove the bumpstrips and filler over them but as above... the filler would sink or crack... you cant just fill the space and expect it to stay there... maybe if it was really small... but in this case u need a support...so that it will retain it shape and not crack... you dotn necesserily need the bumpstrips welded...anything along the same shape and size of them can be used to add support.. but bumpstrips have the exact shape so get welding!!

i havent got my bump strip fully blended into my bumper, iv had my number plate recess removed and the bump strip extented

if you get me, theres a pic in my reader ride, just started it now
