The 2 twist lock bits that hold the front mats in on either side of the Leon, one of mine has split off. Now i am not sure if its a plug that fits into the lower bit or if the lug is an all in one piece.

Basically the bit under the carpet. Is this supposed to be a solid part of the upper bit or does the upper bit just press into the lower bit? bit of a weird question but if they are a solid part then i will glue it back, if they are not i will go to the dealers and but a new top lug piece.

They'll be a 2-piece snap-fit thing with one piece either side of the carpet.

They changed from round pins to oval pins at some point, so make sure you get the right ones for your mats.

where do you get them bits then as i have the mats with slots, and the bits on the footwell are like a cone??

Hmm never seen that before, unless the cones are meant to be swapped for the proper twist lock bits as i cant see how a cone would hold the mat, maybe the cone is just a cap of some sort which you just remove and replace. I will just go to dealers and get a new top piece then as it does look like a 2 piece affair
