Hi all,

Iv been on the site for nearly a year now but Iv never posted up any pics of the old motor, so here goes. As the weather should 'hopefully' start to pick up now im planning on sorting out the back end, debadge, sport rider lights, etc. Hopefully pick up a cupra rear but I know their hard to come by so Im gona be colour coding the rear valance and then sorting out the exhaust (Going to get the side rub strips coded at the same time). As for the front Im on the look out for a facelift but again I could be waiting a while so HID's should be on the way in the meantime.

As you can see from the pics the alloys arnt the best but they'll do until I find something better. I was thinking TT comps, VW anniversary or something similar so they should be on the way also. Once their sorted Im gona have to get some springs cus my back seat passengers are getting vertigo its so high! lol.

Mods so far......

TT pedals
Seat sport gear knob
Cupra air vent levers
Chrome gear/vent surrounds
LCR splitter
Phillips Bluevision bulbs
Blacked out S badge
Red Calipers
20mm Rear spacers
Coded side mirrors

As usual any advise, ideas or general feedback always welcome! Cheers.

Work in progress

Hi all,

Iv finally got my hands on a facelift bumper for my MK4 and Im hopefully gona be fitting it next weekend. Iv also gone for the FR grills but without fogs to fill the holes, the jurys out on how it will look. As a temporary measure I managed to get hold of some silver mesh, sprayed it black and fitted it to the back of the grill.

Also I colour coded the tow eye cover. Good enough match considering and you wouldnt be able to tell unless you had a really close look. Also as its not an FR bumper im considering black vinyl on the number plate recess as I think it looks a lot better.

As always any ideas welcome. Specifically regarding the fog holes and potential vinyl job!

Thanks mate,

I agree with the ride height. I cant look at it with noticing the 'chasm' between the arch and tyre but hey ho, all in good time.

I managed to get the new bumper on today which Im very pleased with. Unfortunatly my splitter was too short for the facelift so Iv gotta get down the stealers to order a new'un tomorrow. Halfrauds have also run out of 1mm adhesive pads so Iv gota get that sorted before the cops give me a talking to.

On the plus side I managed to get a couple of good shots without the plates on......

Cheers fellas,

The side strips will hopefully be sorted out in the summer when I c/c the rear valance. I'll be doing it myself though so Iv just got to wait for a sunny day!

Hi fellas,

Just a small update, fitted the LCR splitter a few months back but gave the car a wash today so took some more pics. Im thinking about tinting the front lights but not 'too' dark! Photoshopped the pic below buts its quite dark so as always let me know what you think before I potentially make a big mistake!

I live just down the road from there (Cooks lane starting at the BP garage by the collector road). Thinking about it I may have seen you about...but without the bonnet bra!

Yeah definetly makes a difference from before. I just gotta sort out the rear...again when the weather picks up a bit. So much to do...so little time. lol

The last thread I saw this on though (headlight tint) most opinions were split. I think the jurys still out but Im gona see how I feel in normal light tomorrow.

I'll give u a flash of the old headlights if I see you about!
