Going to be fitting some coilovers this week and wondered where the best place for axle stands are at the rear?

At the front i'm going to put them on the subframe where the ARB is, is this ok?

Cheers Tim

if you're fitting rear suspension, you will want to support your car on the body, not the rear beam.

because when you remove the struts, the car will fall on it's arse.

behind the rear jacking point cover is a square section - perfect for axle stands

at the front, you don't want to support the subframe, since you'll be needing to lower it - you'll need to support it elsewhere (I use the sills with a block of wood with a cut out)

you'll be hard pushed to do the rears at the same time, since one shock will be shorter than the other
