Pipe identification help please!

That's the pipe from the hot side of the turbo which vents boost back into the cold side when you close the throttle (it makes the noise when you lift off).

Have you replaced the standard dump valve yet? If you mean you have done the N249 bypass, you shouldn't do this if not as it will knacker your turbo if the diagpram in the standard valve fails.

uprated DV coming this weekend. was told the standard dump valve should be ok as its all standard :confused:
So can i replace this pipe to a red silicone without any problems or best not too?

It doesn't seem worth it. You would have to get the right shape of re-enforced pipe (can't just use soft silicone) which may have to be custom made. And it would providode no performance increase.
