Hi everyone,

Been out of the car audio scene for a while but keen to get a light set in my LCR. Wanted to see if anyone has had any experience with the Pioneer DEH-3200UB head unit? Seems like a neat piece of kit.

Was thinking of getting it at Dynamic Sounds along with the CD-IU50 ipod cable. Anyone know if this cable works for the nano also?

Also noticed that there are two facia's for the Leon and wanted to make sure I get the right one:
Connects 2 CT24ST01 Seat Toledo, Leon Car CD Stereo Fascia Panel
Autoleads FP-18-00 - Seat Toledo, Leon, Ibiza Facia Panel Adaptor

Anything else I need? Read a few threads where poeple are getting a aerial booster. Is this needed?

Cheers

I just got a Pioneer DEH-3100UB which seems very similar and does the same things. Very impressed with mine, works faultlessly with my iPhone 3G, just connects with the standard USB sync cable. My girlfriend's got a nano, so I can see if that works with the same sync cable if you like to save buying the iPod cable? Would assume if it works on my model it'd be the same on yours.

I bought a fascia off eBay for £3/£4 which fitted perfectly and colour matched the dash well. I think the 2 you've posted are the same just different brands. I also had to buy an aerial adapter from Halfords for a fiver though.

Hope that helps

you'll want an aerial booster too (pc5-52)
cant go wrong with a pioneer, what generation nano?its only the latest ones there are problems.
or you can get around not buying the lead by taking the unit apart and soldering and unsoldering certain wires differently on the headunits motherboard where the usb is hooked up to

No worries, hers is a brand new one so may be different. I'll test it next time I'm over there with the car anyway.

Thanks for the reply guys. It is the earlier model nano. Would be great if you could quickly test it mate, saves me getting that cable unless you know it works fine MT Audio? Also is this the right booster......http://www.dynamicsounds.co.uk/auto...-cordoba-ibiza-leon-toledo-aerial-p-9301.html

Guys hellllllllp!! Finally thought I would go and install my unit and struggling. Bare with me as I am terrible with this sounds stuff, I usually deal with engine mods :p

Ok so I installed everything however am seeing that the unit loses memory when the car is switched off. I read a few threads about having to switch 2 wires round but do I need to do this if I have the aerial booster? The blue wire on the aerial booster is sitting about, shouldn't this be fitted to something?

Thanks in advance!!

The booster wont affect the memory, you'll need to swithch the red and yellow wire round, the blue should be a remote wire for an external amp

Thanks mate, did the switch this morning and all is working well. Left the blue wire from the aerial booster hanging for now until someone tells me I need to plug that somewhere :)
