hi all. i was wondering if anyone could post up a picture of factory fitted heated seat switches and retro fitted switches. i got an s3 interior but the switches dont fit in right. the left hand one had to be put in upside down. replaced the dash cup holder.. i could only find part numbers for a left and right switch not for left or right hand drive but i have cone across the passanger air bag light and rear window heater in lhd and rhd...

They go on the right hand side, you need to move the rear window de- mister switch to the left side of the hazard switch and replace the air bag switched off light with the one for cars with heated seats.

Part number 1M1919235A warning lamp for airbag, for models with seat heater element, rhd.

Are the wires already there or do you need to completley run new wiring from the seats to the switches

On the topic of heated seats, how hard would it be to replace the heating element?
I'd rather save the labour costs and do it myself if possible..

I just hope that it's the base that's failed, rather than the back.. I presume they're on the same circuit?
