Its taken a while but i have got all the new additions on the car now:funk:, it is a 01 cupra, but i was not to keen on the Mk 1 one bumpers it didn't stand out (apart from the colour) and it looked a bit dated, so i started looking for face lift parts as the styling on them was the way i wanted to go, so over the next 12 months i collected all the parts the cupra r front bumper was the first thing i got, from a member on the site, i went for this purely because it is the best looking front bumper i have ever seen i love it, then the skirts and all the fixings from eBay and finally the rear bumper also eBay, i went for the cupra rear bumper as i am not trying to make a cupra r clone and i prefer the look of it anyway, although i have gone the cupra r way inside, gear knob, gaiter, vents, pedals and hand brake cover, and as i got it really cheap a 210 steering wheel, but i am on the look out for the S3 vents now, i didn't know about them before, it also has the lower (S3)and upper (TT) strut brace and the adjustable rear, after looking for a new set of alloys i went for the older RS4 18inch alloys i love the look of them and think they suit the Leon, again i got these from a forum member, i now have all the bits to fit the Cupra r twin intercoolers mainly thanks to junior senior, i got a bit carried away with this, i know that it wont make a huge difference but its different and i want to do it, just waiting for my wife to give me my car back ( she's waiting for her new one)and i will do it one weekend, the things i have in mind next are a re-map brakes, exhaust and suspension although i am not sure about the suspension as i catch the front bumper everywhere so if it goes any lower i might loose it altogether, i would like to thank all the members on the forum for there help and for going to the trouble of putting their how to guides on the site without them it would have been a lot harder to have done what i wanted too.:D
Here are some pics new pics..

Cheers Jason, by LCR mirrors do you mean the tear drop ones, as the earlyer LCR's have the same as mine, i have just put the blue tint golf mirrors on it so want to keep the ones i have for the moment, although if i found some at a good price i might be tempted.

Looking good Phil
You don't have to lower to inprove the handling.
ARB's are the way forward.
This all depends what your going to do with the car, if its for track day use give me a PM and I'll tell you what I'm up to for my car, if its for road use then get 25 mm front, 28 mm rear, S3 strutt brace front and your car will feel great on the road but you might suffer a little on turn in on tight fast corners but on the road you wouldn't feel it.
If its for looks then lower the car on coilovers.

What a beauty you have there mate!

Doesn't look like the paint on this has faded as on some other yellow leons :)

Very nice mate - spotted you in Eastwood IKEA car park a couple of weekends ago, just realised it was someone off here after seeing your pics above. Looked a woman driving so I presume your wife still has it?! Must say car looks even better in real life :D

My Car.. Updated.

Well i have now put the LCR twin intercoolers manifold and charge pipe on and it runs very nicely, unfortunately i forgot to do the logs i wanted to so i could see the before and after, it was quite straight forward no big issues, it took me a weekend but if i was to do it again i could do it in a day.
While i was doing this i fitted the catch tank which went in well, just had to make a small bracket to fit it where i wanted but i have since found the gear linkage hits it when i change in to sixth so i will need to make the bracket a bit higher.
I have now put in the S3 interior which is a piece of cake to fit , the electrics are not as high tech as the old ones but the recaros make up for it, i have just got to sort the heated switches and wiring out now.
I have also fitted a new set of drilled and grooved disc's the old ones where warped.
I am now saving to get the wheels refurbed and painted anthracite ( i think).
I have also had the rear lights tinted which i think looks great it, i thought about black but everyone's doing that so i went for red.
The next thing i want to look at is fitting a ko4 and remap
Oh and i got a teeny number plate for the front.
