Hi, iv currently got a custom code phase 1 remap on my Mk4 cupra 20vt and i am thinking about geting a milltek turbo back exhaust and custom code phase 2 remap to go with it. i am wondering is there much difference in terms of accelleration and torque in comparison to the difference between standard to phase one. any info would be great thanks!

imo your better off saving the money and going hybrid

I don't know about that, for me, all i needed was a stage 2 map for however much it is, a few hundred quid. Instead, I went hybrid and got 20 extra horses and no more torque than Damien (stage 2 car) for teh princely sum of £3300

fair enough. i guess it different for the cupras. for the FR the amount of extra stuff needed for stage 2 (on a diesel atleast) you may aswell just go hybrid as you only need the hybrid turbo and custom map over stage 2 map (if that makes sence).

yeh that fair enough too, I did go the whole hog with my hybrid, with bigger maf, injectors etc. I had FMIC standard, but I'd already forked out for a full exhaust, TIP and filter  swings and roundabouts really, but I could almost have gone proper big turbo for the money I paid. I could also have just gone for the turbo and mapping but I thought that would have been daft lol.

the turbo back exhaust alone makes a huge difference i didnt expect much when i fitted it but was pleasently suprised so that with a map is going to make a massive difference,i havent had my car mapped yet but after i fit my newsouth inlet manifold gasket im getting it mapped then it will be time to get used to the cars new power again like i had to after i fitted the exhaust.

i would not have thought the exhaust alone would have made much difference either, just goes to show that u never know til you try it out. i mite as well get it mapped though as i can get a 40% discount as it would be an upgrade from phase 1. do you think i would need anything else such as fuel pressure regulator or TIP or forge diverter valve ect, i dont really want to spend money on things that only add 1 or 2 bhp as i dont have the money to chuck around.

you will need a forge diverter valve i have a forge tip too but im unsure if the standard tip is known to collapse on the mk4 ibiza i have read it happens on the leon when mapped not read it happening on a mapped ibiza.
the tip is probally the only mod ive done that didnt seem worth it to be honest but probally is needed.
a 4 bar fpr is only needed if the mapper requires them with there map i know amd and revo do dont think custom code do.
