Hey folks,
So I fitted my boost gauge, and voltmeter (might change that one at a later date to an oil temperature one) today... Wired up both gauges to the same wires heading to the headlight switch.
Didn't bother with switched, just went straight for backlight + and -
Apart from the gauge buzzing a bit (Autogauge so probably that!) which is fine.
I couldn't get the sodding Cupra R gauge holder to sit properly... Before I realised... There appears to be a bracket of some sort, which has been cut into the the cubby hole at the top at the very back...
This seems a bit idiotic if it's a previous owner doing it to fit a custom bracket of some sort but I cannot seem to get it to come out of the holder, even though I can move it freely forward and back, it seems jammed in/cut in of some way or another.
Before I get the tin snips out, I take it this bracket isn't part of the car as standard...?
