Performance Exhaust advice

Hey all. Am looking to get a full performance exhaust system on my 8v Cupra sport, but have no idea which one would be the best out of all of those available. Can anyone let me know which one is best?

I've been told to avoid Magnex, as it has a really loud rattle around the handbrake area. Suggestions please?

Ive just had a longlife catback system fitted yesterday. they had really good service, and the system seems well nice (you can choose the kind of note you want when the car's driving and ticking over) They've got good prices as well, I paid £319 for a catback, with oval tailpipe all fitted. hope it helps :)

was that custom made mate?

there is 2 custom made exhaust places in glasgow - meercat and C+C and they are both supposed to be briliant.

you can choose to go for performance/looks/sound and they fit it too.

sometimes they are better than buying magnex/mongoose etc ;)

you should have asked to get it for cheaper, no harm in trying. I had a longlife cat back fitted in leeds on friday, and it was originally 300 but i knocked him down to 220!!!!!

Did you get it with a standard tailpipe or did you go for one with baffles and stuff in it?

I did ask!!! i even said that i 'knew some one' who got the system for under 250...but they still wouldnt go under 280 and then they added...and just 30 for the oval tailpipe.. dammit! ah well... they must be tightasses in cardiff.

Yes, i've heard rave reviews about the mongoose system, but it's tough to find one which isnt sold by Halfrauds, lol. I've left an enquiry with longlife, but the nearest one to me is like 35 miles away, lol. i'll see what they say before deciding
