peps who have had coil pacs go

has any one replaced a coil pack and then still had no power "not a misfire" if so when faults were cleared did the prob come back or did all coils have to be replaced?

We replaced all four on the advice of Badger Bill on my sons Mk 3,no problems since.....

It maybe your N75 valve, My friends got a Octavia vrs and his is doing the same so his brought the valve and should be fitting it tonight so i'll let you know if it cures the problem .

did you try a standard one?,or a "j" ect as this needs to go in a different way round to the standard,been reading through and really sounds like could be something as simple as this

I hope its something simple mate lol, jock and grant had a valve in stock they tried on i imagine they would have known what they were doing they also bypased another valve simular to this one but i cant remember its name.

been talking to greg and he says you cant get it to go over 3000rpm? First thing i would do now is swap ecus with someone,maybe rob in mitcheldean?badboybeef on here i think,then you would know its something in the pipework.Only thread i can find (not on cupra net) is where a squirrel had made a nest in an airbox and the engine just could'nt get any air,simply would not rev, sure all the intake is clear,no plastic bags or anything
