Pedal Box

Hey people, I have a 2001 Ibiza and previously had a 2000, both had cracked pedal boxes, im sure by now most of you know about this fault but be warned... it cost me €500 to get a new one put in! got a new clutch too and now it's a dream to drive. it now doesnt have the typical Seat clutch feel, it's got proper spring back in it! so just a warning to people get it looked before you buy, i even considered comin to the UK to get it done but was still £300 !

you could of just welded the pedal back on yourself, and put a bit of reinforcement in, for way cheaper than that mate!

well if i knew the right people i would have but unfortuately i dont! ah well things happen

you wouldnt of needed to know the right people, theres a guide on here on how to remove it, then you could of taken it to sny place that does welding, it wouldnt of taken them long,

well you've learned that now anyway, but next time something happens, search on here first cos there'll probably be a cheaper alternative

i know there is but ive always thought it better to get the job by a professional! plus i'll be lookin to sell it soon and get a cupra, seen a few here thats i'd be interested in but gotta wait for another year or 2 so i can afford the insurance..... insurance is so frickin expensive here!
