PD150 op end speed

Hey guys, I seem to be having a bit of bother with my car at the moment.

I recently blew turbo on her and was blowing oil through the exhaust. This was only a few weeks ago and I haven't really done any considerable miles since.

Anyway I stuck some additives in the other day, injector cleaner, smokey exhaust and turbo cleaner. Gave her a good run up and down the motorway to get the stuff running through the system. Car has been seeming to be a bit under powered so I gave it some shoe, only to fine once it hit 100mph I would struggle to get any more out of her without me feeling like I was pushing the thing to the limit.

What could be the problem here? Also how long would it take to clear any oil from exhaust? Is it possible the mechanic never cleaned intercooler pipework out and I still have some lying around? I would have thought any in the exhaust would have already been burned out by now. Any help would be much appreciated thank you

I've never had a problem with top end speed (can't remember the last time I went over 80mph to be honest) but when it comes to the boost pipes, they probably wouldn't have been cleaned.

The elbow pipe that connects to the EGR valve is probably the easiest one to check for muck - just take off the two horseshoe clips and put a tissue or a finger inside. There will be some oil, but you'll know if that's excessive.

If you want to check to see if it's pooled lower, try the pancake pipe behind the outside front wheel. The red turbo pipe might be more awkward to get to.

What happens when you're trying to go fast? Is it like it's hit a limiter, or that it just feels like it's out of steam? Does dropping into fifth make a difference?

It's weird that it's only top end. Have you got a code scanner?
