PD130 - should I fit a larger downpipe?

Hi,
I'm driving Ibıza PD130 with Upsulte Remap.(dyno 172hp)
Question is,when i chipped my car it was a fully stock.
Then i removeD cat,deleteD egr valve.
Now i want to make new exhaust system from downpipe.
How should i adjust dimensions.Stock pipe is 51mm.I'm planning to make 60mm or 62mm chrome pipe.Any experiences?Will it really increase the power?

Do you plan on doing anything else to it, once you have this system? Aew you going for a full system from the downpipe onwards? I believe the exhaust standard is 2'25, could go for a 3" turbo back.

Then adjust the map to take into these changes. Id also look at replacing standard boost pipes for better ones, and get a FMIC if not already done.

As above. You'd need to get another map done to optimise the new components. If not, you will probably see a reduction in power.

Ok.But my car is fully stock except map.
And i can't upgrade my map after changes,because there is no upsolute company in my home town.
I didnt change my exhaust system i'm only planning if it will increase the power.
And i'm sure stock pipe is 51mm.

If your not changing the turbo there is no point in having a larger bore exhaust. Just make sure the exhaust is as free flowing as possible so no CAT and a good free flow back box or no backbox at all.

So you havnt removed the cat, and deleted the egr valve?

You will see min. gains on anything you do, then see a little more by altering the map. What is your final plan for the car?
