Hi, you can't go wrong with richard !!!

richard=oscarli i assume?
have heard he is good but isnt it the distributor that needs to get it right also? i mean are they are the ones that do the mapping although software is oscarli?

Hi, Richard Washbrook operates Oscarli and i ask why go to a distributor when you can go to the man himself. he operates in the Rugby/ Warwick areas

Never heard of them. But then I'd never heard of the company I used and am chuffed to bits with my map! Bloomin good figures aswell compared to other, ALOT more expensive companies!

What sorta cost are you looking for ? And what figures should you expect ? Will the standard clutch take it...i gather its the torque that would kill the clutch not neceserily the bhp (sorry for spelling)

Hi,

You see if you go to a decent mapper they can bring the torque in progressively to max at 2600 rpm to protect the transmission.
The previous version of my current map produced 200 bhp and 270 lb ft, which is not much more torque than standard.

im running a standard clutch, 330lb ft peaks at 2800ish rpm and 230bhp at past 4k+ revs.

i've not had any slip (yet) but im confident (famous last words) it will be ok.
