Is this similar to the carbonio induction kit and does anyone think its worth the money?

Has anyone already got one? or has anyone got a carbonio kit on a diesel??

At that price wouldn't you be better off with the Viper kit? As its filter is covered so you only take in the air from the cold air feed, rather than the whole engine bay? Plus the Viper is cheaper!

but the carbon one looks like it is directed away from the engine, therefore, sucking in cooler air,

anyhow, there both expensive and im sure the green panel filter/Cupra intake is good enough

yer thats true i guess. I've never really rated induction kits, so i'd prob stick with ur cupra intake and panel filter.

I will be asking you some questions once i get my PD130, its somewhere in the country apparently but i dunno where

The CDA induction kit is without doudt one of the best induction kits about. The pipercross kit for £285 is a rip off amount for a kit that sucks hot air from under the bonnet. Whats the point of having a carbon intake pipe when the air was taken from under the bonnet to start with.

CAI`s will bring in cold air from the front of the engine , near to the front bumper.
Induction kits blow cold air on to the filter.
So in effect it is not sucking in the warm air from the engine bay.But the cold air blown on to it

Had them fitted to my last three cars Ibiza PD130,PD Cupra and now the Audi 2.0 PD.

How much noise compaired to the normal airbox Mike

There is a slight sucking noise but not a roar. On the Audi it starts to whistle when i am coming on boost maybe because i have a big f k off turbo fitted but it always bring a smile to my face since i know it is grin facture time then.
