I see that SEAT has now reduced the APR on its PCP financing packages for FR and Cupra models to 0% - the same as hire purchase has been for a while (but without the 50% deposit requirement). For S and SE models the PCP APR is 2.9%.

They seem to have ended the fixed-price servicing deal for PCP buyers.

And it also looks like the £1,000 deposit contribution from SEAT is no longer available on PCP deals.

Looks like SEAT have taken away the £1,000 deposit contribution though and made it 0% instead, so swings and roundabouts depending how much you are financing?

0% compared to their previous rate of 5.9% is a massive difference.

Try pcpcal.co.uk and see for yourself.

27000 (DTD price with monsoon grey, Link and Black Line) with the 1000 Seat contribution over 36 months and a GMFV of 11500 (as quotde by a Seat dealer) at 5.9% is around £500 a month

27000 with no deposit and same GMFV and 0% is around £430

£70 x 36 = £2520. Nearly 10% of the cars price.

It's almost made my mind up. Almost..!

I'm pretty sure they will have made it up in the base car prices.

Hi, I'm new to this forum thingy although been reading this forum for about 2months now as i'm about to take delivery of a seat leon fr 1.4 150 act anytime. Would this deal benefit me more than the £1000 deposit contribution as when i use the pcp cal, It just keeps sayin £0 pm lol. The car is £20000 ive put £1150 down so £2150 with seats contribution and the payments are £263 a month? So would the 0% pcp help me in any way?.

I was told that it needs to be charged at MY16 pricing to be eligible for the 0%, so on my Cupra I'm better off staying with the deal I've already got.

If in doubt check with your dealer, they can very quickly run the numbers.

Right, thanks for that. Looks like i need I need a chat over the numbers anyway as on that pcp cal the monthly payments are coming back at 240ish mark even with seats 5.9% on a pcp.

Interesting, annoying though that the finance calculator is missing everything beyond the 'S' and 'SE' models.

I've always bought on a normal loan fully paying it off after 3 years, that large final payment makes me nervous, even if handing the car back would pay it off.

On the Seat website you need to press the Special Offers link at the end of the Grey bar/Menu near the top of the screen.

On the page that's then displayed you then need to click on the Explore Our New Car Offers > link.

And then on the Left of the screen is a list of all the new Offers including the Leon Cupra 0% deal.
