Ok, it was only because I was watching some Audi looking alloys on eBay and the seller had put in the description they were seat, vw, and Audi fitment at 5x110.

I checked and told him 5x110 wasn't Audi seat and vw, then he said he didn't really know tbh and they don't fit his 2007 passat which is 112.

So when I said if he measures the distance between the two holes from the centre of each hole I could tell him the pcd

He said he's going home tonight to help his family out and wouldnt be back in the country I'll Monday so didn't have the time.

Strange or what?

Erm, Mk4 platform certainly wasn't 5x110 !!!! 5x110 is new Vauxhall - Astra H etc

Mk4 platform is 5x100
Mk5 platform is 5x112

However a lot of alloy wheel aftermarket suppliers are now bringing the wheels in for 5x110, as this allows the use of 'wobbly' bolts / variable PCD bolts (or whatever you'd like to call them) to fit all three stud patterns of 5x110 / 5x112 and 5x108

2007 Passat is definately 5x112 with similar offsets to Leon Mk2

Typical Ebay seller, hence why I go armed with my PCD tool if we go and look at any second hand wheels !!!

But if its a 2007 passat OEM set of wheels then its definately 5x112, if not well thats anyones guess !!

If its 5x100 then centre of one wheel hole to the next is approx 60mm
5x112 is approx 68mm
5x110 would be a couple of mm less than the 5x112 at about 65/66mm (all measured with my trust £1 B&Q tape measure here at work lol)
