pcd fitment

hi, i know that the pcd fitment of a ibiza is 4x100 but a friend of mine sez that you can fit punto fitments straight on also. is this true as i thought punto fitment was 4x98. if anybody could lend some knowlegde? thanks in advance

Yes mate the ibiza will take both 4x100 and 4x98

is that right? I can't understand how that's possible...wouldn't 4x98 be out by 2mm and not fit or ruin the thread on the bolts?

As far as i know sierra cossies are pcd 4 x 108 but should check on www.alloyguide.co.uk
