passenger door wont lock or unlock

HELP!!!

the rear passenger door wont lock or unlock, it doesnt matter if i use the remote fob or use the key in the door, the alarm still sets fine, but the door wont lock, ive had all the inside of the door apart and still no joy.....

Any idea's??

Any1 had a similar problem??

would prefer not to go to the Main Dealer as im sure they would find a million problems with the car that dont actually exsit!!!

Hi might be the same problem as what i had. Has that door been making louder noises when locking/unlocking recently? If you knock the panel near the handle end of the door will it start working again? If it does might be your door locking module(£92inc vat). I started a thread on it about two weeks back which might be worth a search.

Dead solenoid


I think you can test it with a 9v battery and a paperclip/couple of lengths of wire, but I've not seen one to know which (or how many) wires you need to check
