Has anyone installed a parrot bluetooth kit?

Looking at either the CK3000 or CK3100. Is it a firly easy job or is it worth paying a bit more to halfords to get them to fit it?

cheers

If you have a look at blueunplugged.com they do the iso mute leads. They just plug into the back of your head unit. Just need to find a place for the mic to go.
Have a look Here

I have a CK3000 Evolution fitted to my MK1 Leon. I must say it's an excellent piece of kit and really worth the money. Got it fitted my Halfords for £99.

You can get the kit for about £50 - £60 but I thought it was worth paying the extra to get Halfords to do it (although they done a sh!te job and I had to go back I eventually got there with it). Looked a bit too fiddly to do myself and at least you get a warranty on the fitting too.

Worth doing a check on the parrot website for phone compatibility. I had problems with sending vcards from my Samsung and never got the voice recognition working because the software wasn't fully compatible with samsung but once I changed to Nokia it worked a treat.

I've got the 3100 in mine. Fitted by a professional company, very neat job and works a treat with the stereo. Far cheaper if you do it yourself but I got it done when I picked up the car so was ready to go from day one.

Only word of advice is to turn off the spoken menus as it gets very annoying very quickly!

sounds like a good system then. Planning to use it with a samsung but don't mind too much about possible lack of voice recognition. Will have to think whether it's worth spending the extra £40ish to get it fitted

I fitted a 3100 to my Golf MkV. I bought all the necessary cables from siocommunications.co.uk and fitted it myslef. There was 2 cables I bought, one was an adapter for the ISO connections to Quadlok the other was a Telemute lead. It all worked flawlessly for about a year and a half and then started dropping the BT connection... But then I go my FR!!!!

Another satisfied Parrot user here. Fitted by Toad. Really happy with the install and the set up.

10/10 for ease of use.

Hi, I have just had a ck 3000 fitted in my leon and also my dad's had one in his new BMW 3 series coupe by The Carphone Warehouse ... £99 fully fitted and they come to you ... the guy that fitted them both was superb REALLY REALLY knew his stuff and also got him to wire in my Tom Tom and Road angel while he had the car in bits... gave him a bit on the side for doing it though but i am really please at the job ... i was going to let Halfords fit it but did not fancy some EX-macdonalds burger flipper taking my car apart....
