Anyone had these fitted to a Leon - any good

Father-in-law has these on his SE Leon, very useful with his caravan and general parking etc, when I use his car (if they have popped ova and he has his car at the end of the drive....) I can park 1 inch from the front of one of mine.. Hence I have the more Seats on my drive than the local dealer LOL....

Been thinking about getting them for my Alhambra, but with my towbar/Bike rack mounts/Stabalizer unit sticking out from the back,I'm in now rush....

I am going to get them fitted, I have been quotes £270 inc fitting, vat and colour coding.

Just found out that the Seat ones are just a single sensor which sounds crap. Any others out there to try ?

Had mine fitted through Seat but after market did a good job and it doesn't sound to bad either with (Total Security)

Pardon my ignorance but what do you mean by single sensor? I thought the system came with four sensors?

Apparently not four as you would expect but just a single sensor in the centre it would seem.

My Dad has some 3rd party parking sensors installed on his mondeo. They were rated very highly in Sunday Times if memory recalls. Will find out the make/model number. He swears by them, 4 sensors if I recall.

Things must have changed, as My Father-in-Law has I'm sure 4 ...

Mind you he has this 'interesting' speaker box thing that goes beep beep beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep as he gets closer... - Me I'd have that routed through the stereo...

I had them on a Beemer & they are useful but I wouldnt go out my way to pay for aftermarket ones
