My mission here was to find a simple quick method of cleaning the rear panoramic sunroof drain holes on a 2019 ST. I did the front as well but that was much simpler and done using the drain holes accessible from the top.

The first image shows the panel pulled back to reveal the orange drain tube that sits behind the rear wheel on the bumper side. Remove the boot lip (3 torx and pull up), undo the top plastic piece (2 torx and three capped twist screws) and pull off at the back. No need to remove the whole panel :

The second image shows the bottom of the drain tube in situ :

The third image shows the end of the drain tube with red capped spider trap pulled out from the chassis :

The fourth image shows the drain tube with the red cap spider trap removed and all the slimy leafy debris blocking the end of the tube. I live in leafy wet Hampshire, I discarded the spider traps as the look like they cause the blockages :

The fifth and sixth images show the cleaning method using a funnel, ready to use screenwash and a stiff wire (welding wire 2m) with a piece of cloth tightly twisted on the end :

The seventh image shows the final test that results in a pool of screenwash on the ground. A lot of muddy slime came out and the drains tested by pouring screenwash down the drain hole. I couldn't hold a camera and tip at the same time :

This is my quick cheap method, not the official service one. You may be able access the end of the tubes from under the car and do it that way I don't know. Either way those spider traps are definitely a problem in a wet leafy climate !

I saw this the other day on eBay. Looks like they've got a brush on the end. Quite a good simple idea!
