You can't use an aftermarket headunit with the OEM changer I'm afraid.

You can use a Sony T-69 Changer with the OEM headunit though with a Connects2 adaptor.

May as well scrap the idea then!

You'd think they'd use generic connections to make it easier for people wouldn't you!!!!

Seeing as it's an MP3 HU wouldn't you be better just buying it and removing the CD Changer? That is what I would do, especially as my changer is taking up space in the glovebox.

Yeah, I'm definitely toying with the idea. Seen a nice Kenwood with loads of money off. KDC-W707 so it has the sexy D-Mask face-plate, but sadly blue illumination won't match my Mk1's red dash illumination etc.

Are Kenwoods decent? I had an old one on my Mk4 Polo, only problem was AM radio reception.

If I do change to an aftermarket HU, I gather there's a glovebox adaptor you can get that turns the glovebox into normal!?
