Paintwork, chips and "abnormal loads"

I washed my car the other day and noticed a few short (as in, a few millimetres) gouges in the paintwork on the roof. Figured something flew up from the road and then went "boink!" (probably as a result of some jerk in a BMW). So started the queue of cosmetic repairs.

Now, today in a car park some 60+ year-old moo with a face like a pot-hole and an arse that should've had a bloody rag on a stick poking out of it (you know, the kind that keeps moving five seconds after its owner has stopped walking) opened her door onto mine and put some scuffs (again, a few millimetres long) into my lovely Black Magic. [:@] (In fact, my face was more like one of those Picasso paintings.) And to add insult to injury, she did it with a Rover 25. In British Racing Green.

So I think this is going to be a job for the people at ChipsAway. Anyone had any experience with them and Black Magic (because it's certainly not worth me spending out to have two panels re-sprayed)? Any idea what it's likely to cost?

Dont think the roof is repairable with a chipsaway repair :( as you can never lose the edge, the door is repairable (edge to edge) if the local guy to you has the 2 pack system we use, I am always repairing my dinks, I thought my fiat coupe was bad but these things are made of bacofoil!

sure he could repair the dents but not the paint , nobody can spot repair a black roof without evidence of an edge visible even if they think they can you will see it in a certain light/angles

I am fully aware and understand concept of PAINTLESS dent removal, I was pointing out as per the original post that it will not be invisible using that method because the PAINT is broken, therefore removing the dent will still leave damaged paint which cannot be spot repaired 100%
