Hi to all! I bought this Formentor two months ago. As you can see fro the photos there is a spot on the car (in the red circle) that the paint is somehow different color.. I have check the car on detailer to see if it has been repainted and today I checked it with car painter. Both of them told me that the car hasn't been repainted. But the detailer told me that this is paint defect and other can be corrected with paint correction and the car painter told me after he light polished the spot that there is a manufacturing problem with the paint and there is nothing that I can do. At the dealer they told me that they can fox the problem but I am not sure what they are going to do. They told me that there is a protective sticker from the factory and maybe there is residue from that.

Do you have any similar problem with the car? And if so what have you done to solve it?
Is the a common problem lets say or I have to deal with it and live with it? I Neve saw anything like this before to other brand new cars.

It's always difficult to tell from a photograph, but it looks to me like a localised repair has been done in that area. Metallic paints are always difficult to match, not so much in colour with modern colour matching systems, but in the way the metalflake 'lays down'

Thanks for the info. But the problem is that the dealer, my car painter, and the detailer checked the car and all of them informed me that no job or whatsoever has been done to the car. The dealer and the detailer checked the car with a tool. Do you think is good idea to repaint it to fix it or stay that way? Thanks
