I,ve just read an excellent report on a White Bocanegra which was taken to have its paint work given the "Detailing Treatment." Much to the surprise of the person doing the job he found defects which should not have been in the finish on a car which can,t have been that old. If any one is interested in reading the findings this can be found on a very good and interesting Web Site called Detailing World >Gallery>The Studio and "type in" Ultimate Shine:Seat Bocanegra "White".
It,s well worth reading and this Web Site gives good write ups on valeting your car and the products which can enhance the appearance of our beautiful FR,s ,Cupra,s and Boca,s, etc.

Yeah the front lower edge does take a battering.

My Boca is also up on Detailing World. Tbh look close enough on any new SEAT and most new cars and you will find paint defects (unless your going pretty expensive). Cars are all painted on a conveyor by a machine as fast as possible. Some better than others.

There are some paint issues on mine. They have missed painting the front of the bumper under one of the headlights but you have to be super anal to spot it and the mask lines on the black mouth could be neater. But it doesnt stop me enjoying the car and realising at sooner or later its going to need paint anyway.

I had quite a lot of small stone chips on my Candy White boca in the 1st week! They look bad because underneath the white its piano black!!!
Managed to touch them up very well (halfords mixed aerosol + tooth pick method).
Then I gave it a good waxing (Autoglym super resin, high gloss + top coat of Detailing wax) and since then I have not had any more... the wax must just toughen it up enough to resist chipping?

Not so much a paint defect but mine came with a dent and 2 uniform scratches down the bonnet. Dent sorted n scratches hidden lucky for the dealer its a white car else think I'd of been asking for a new bonnet.

Found two defects in my paint, an odd mark on the roof that looks almost like oil in the paint. It's tiny, but it looks a little like what oil looks like in a puddle.

And the second on it a little bump of dirt or something that's below the paint on the back rear quarter.

Both are barely noticable thought so it's no big deal.
