Was merging onto a motorway today in heavy rain when the engine cut out. Restarted the engine assuming I had done something stupid but it stalled all most immediately and the check engine light came on. Rolled onto the hard shoulder and waited for a bit. Decided to restart 15 mins later and limp to the next exit where there was a multistory and could wait for the AA out of the rain. Only thing is it then drove perfectly so decided to return home and dig out my OBDII reader.
Codes are:
P0652. Sensor reference voltage B circuit low
P2127.Throttle / pedal / position sensor switch E circuit low
P0192. Fuel rail pressure sensor A circuit low
Now this has happened before in heavy snow two years ago. Throttle all over the place, and then engine died. On that occasion I called the AA for them to arrive and the car work perfectly (rather embarrassing). They read the codes which if memory serves me correctly where the same. The bloke definitely mentioned throttle position and circuit low. He took it for a quick spin to make sure all was ok (was more of a test drive, he was thinking of buying one) and it was.
There's not much on google on these codes so any ideas? My theory is something to do with the volume of water maybe getting somewhere it shouldn't.
Car is a 56 plate Leon FR 2.0 TFSI. Also have the freeze frame data if that will help.
