Outside temperature

I am having a problem with my outside temperature reading on the dash computer.

Over the past couple of days it has been reading between -30 & -12 degrees . I know it is cold but it's not that cold.

This will also stop the cooling function on the climate control coming on, if it was needed.

Has anyone had this problem before or any ideas to solve it.

if its anything like the ibiza it'll most likely be the outer sensor

it's not in the mirror like the ibiza though its in the front bumper by the foglamp

Will this come up as fault on VAG-COM?

Dont think Vag com shows this up, as it still thinks it's getting a reading, allbeit incorrect. Took mine to the dealer yesterday and sods law it was reading correct, we compared it to another car on their forecourt. Today it reckons it's was -4.5c this morning!!
