out of the pink AND INTO THE RED

For those of you that have had the pleasure of visiting DF homeland you will know about my fondness for a red car

Here's today's detail on arrival:

I washed the paint down using the karcher, used APC on the trims, and then dried off with a towel. Moved it into the garage, completed the PDG readings and started 'testing' the bonnet area for the desired results.

As the bonnet had plenty of paint, and the combo of Megs 80 and a polishing pad was having little effect, I moved onto my Megs DACP and a four inch pad.

Followed this up with the megs 80, then XMT finishing glaze, topped with Megs DC3.
here are the half anf half shots.

I carried on around thre carm using XMT ultra fine swirl remover on the sides and roof, followed with XMT finishing glaze and topped with DC3. Gave the whole car a wipe down with Pinnacle Crystal Mist, plastics with AG bumper care, tyres with Armor All Tire gel, windows cleaned with glass cleaner.

I am very pleased withb the results in five hours, the owner is too, and I'll be using some of these to update my own site.... :thumb:

you'd be amazed how much of the dead paint came off and got washed away.... still hardly removed anything tho, just coupld uM's....

So the last time if at the FD treament was
03-06-2006... lasted 2.5 months, cool

its not the same car fella, this was the other one I nearly pulled in at same time....

Different car, and was a lot harder to bring back too

Do you know of anyone local to me (NG24) Notts/Lincs border, who could give my baby a god detailing? Covered in stone chips and i mean covered. Don't know if the power polishing might soften them out a bit or what but thought I would ask.
