After a busy busy start to the year snow snow and more snow everytime i have had a nice sunny day i have been at work,day off it rains...until today.
I don't have detailing ocd but i do throughly enjoy cleaning my cars taking them from minging to clean gives so much satisfaction.
a quick run down of how my day was spent
it's prob been 3 months since it's had a good wash so some before pictures are in order methinks
as you can see 3 months of road grim,salt and general crap has built up on the paint..
quick soak using valet pro orange pre wash with karcher k.2.36
rinse off not looking to shabby.
next was a clay down using meguiers quik clay and some shampoo (my wifes fructis nice smell to it )
the drivers door after my first pass..this is going to take a while.
clayed rinsed and dried using a waffle weave microfibre
next up the wheels
ag custom wheel cleaner and then sealed with ag wheel sealant
before
after
wheels done time for the paint prewax treatment with dodo juice lime prime (mmm smelly)
i lost my blue masking tape and could only find a roll of bog basic mask tape to tape glas and trim off so yes it has come away in some of the pictures
anyway on with the show
lime prime done now onto the ag gloss to give it a bit of depth
by now it was lunch time perfect cause the gloss has to sit for 30-60 minutes
quick trip to kfc nom noms eaten time to go back to work.
forgot to take a picture after the gloss doh
treated all the glass to ag glass polish really like this stuff not a massive fan of the fast glass though.
Interior hoovered and the dash given a once over with megs quik detailer i really must get some new mats for it though..
