Oulton Park - Qualifying

Well looking good so far, in wet/damp conditions, Jason and James have put the Leon's 1st and 2nd respectively, in first free practice.

I was hoping today would be wet damp, for this very reason, i think the Leon's chassis is working well in these conditions, and if it stays like this through qualifying, means they'll start in a good position tomorrow.

Just got to get a good start, and shut the door on the rest of the field

If i can shake this dose of man flu for long enough, i'm going to nip over for qualifying at 3

Tenner i think for qualifying. But i got a weekend ticket, which saved me a tenner, fiver off each day.

2nd free practive currently under way, track must of dried somewhat, as they are around 8-10seconds quicker a lap now, than this morning.

Plato still fastest, Thommo midfield at the moment.

Still about 9-10 mins left to run in this session.

Hmmm Plato does like this track, I remember last year, he whooped everyone at Oulton.

I think over 40 cars, but m0rk will know more precisely as he's done the organising on this one.

2nd free practice ended with JP on top, with a 1.28.761

Then Gavin Smith, 1.28.955

Then Thommo 1.29.032

Right off for some lunch then heading to the circuit for qualifying.

Plato is the fastest qualifier and Thommo second. So thats the Seats 1-2 on the grid and it looks like they were flying from the times they put it. Should be good tomorrow.
