Osram silverstars possible problem

I have fitted these to my Leon on dipped and main beam.

Thing is they didnt seem any brighter compared to when I fitted some to my LCR you could see the difference.
Also I was in front of my wife last night and I thought she had main beam on as the lights were blinding me when I looked in the rear view mirror. I have had a look at re-fitting but no change and there doesnt seem to be any obvious movement when I turn the adjustment wheel in the car. Do they not sit the same way up as the ones I removed???

Has anyone noticed this on their Leon's.

go to your local mot place, they will align the lights for a few quid.
Thats what i did when i didnt fit my osrams properly.

Dan, did it make a difference when they were re-aligned.
