it goes into the air vent to the right side of the steering wheel, near the window, the vent on your dash will just "pull" out then you remove the slats by pulling them out and the vent pod and computer thing just slides in and holds in place like... just replaces the vent, keep the vent closed when the heaters are on hot.. to run the wire i got a stanley blade/knife and cut a slat into the bottom of the vent ducting, pushed the wire through and connected it up to the vent pod computer, pushed the vent into place then remove the lower part of the dash where the light swicth is, easy to remove a few torx headed screws underneath and in the fuse box area. 5 minute job. even tho saying you need to remove that part of the dash sounds like a big job it isnt. run the run under there to the diagnostic port and plug it in :D
ill post up a picture

i ran mine through the vent, into the fuse box, under the das near the steering wheel, then behind the pod where the ecu port is.... no undoing anything, totally hidden wires, took around half hour to fit.

payed 130 all in for mine, got it whilst they were testing for the leon fitment:happy:

Cool mate, i know what you mean about removing the dash, i think you just need to do it and get over the fear!

Look forward to seeing a pic of it all!

Cheers!
