Hey im after some suspension for my FR+ TDI, i dont want to go stupidly low 40mm max and with some 20mm rear spacers on the rear as my new wheels have an offset of 42 and sit in the arches.

Ive been looking a shocks and springs set up as i find coilovers to harsh.
I know these are budget and you get what you pay for but they seem to be popular with golfs and polos and they have a very good feedback and alot of items sold.

i dont know wether to go for the leon kit with 40mm drop, or the equivalent mk4 golf tdi kit with a 35mm drop, as the leon shares the same platform as the golf and the golf kit is cheaper aswell.

Also if anyone has bought one of these kits what are they like for ride etc...

Yeah there pretty much the same aint they, all the cheapy ones are just copies of eachother, how did you find them, i want alittle lower to close the gap now ive got 18's on thats all, and a smooth ride, my standard suspensions done 65k now so a new sets going to to firmer i know because they are new but i dont want crashy and dead bumpy thats all. Have you got any pics please of your car with them fitted so i can see how it sat?

i dont have pics mate, it sits perfect on 18s. about an inch ish above the tyre....

they arent copies of those ones on ebay mate, they wont give a smooth ride im afraid, the janspeed ones are pretty smooth tbh, not crashy at all.
