Only had it 24 hours

Just got a new Ibiza 1.9TDi Sport and the emission light has come on.
Waiting for the garage to call.
Has anyone experienced this. Am I able to drive it or is it best to leave it and get it collected?

is this brand new?
so its under warranty?

but either way id get it collected. or wait for the call from the garage and do as they say. then if theres an issue they cant say you kep driving despite the warning.

What happened is...

AA man came and checked it out.

There were two faults found on his laptop. Main on being to do with the Turbo.

He switched the light off but its come on again.

A friend of mine experienced the same thing in his Skoda diesel

Its booked in to the garage for Thursday. I'll let you know how I get on.

I had a similar problem to this in my 06 FR TDI, and in my case, i was told that it was ok to drive, as there was nothin wrong with the emissions - a relay needed to be replaced, apparantly this is built into one of the glow plugs, amd this seem to cure the problem! but i guess there could be a whole list of reasons why this light has come on! good luck!
