the rear end pokes up, the front looks ace, low enough just so the arch is nearly level with top of tyre but rear is funny it sticks a further 35mm into the air make the rear look unsuited.

anyway was thinking of just fitting lowering spring 35 mm 1.9tdi ones but already bit lower so will make it a 25mm drop the same distance to wheel as front. and also tints to add to look lol!

bascally will it work im doing to do as i'm very happy with handling of the cupra so coilover are not needed at this point, doing this to the back i can see no real problems if it does cause probs (handling defects) i will change back :) uh also going too do 15mm spacers at rear.

what do you think before/after crap paint job!

near rear shot before after (spacers and springs)

I think it will just top of the sporty look and get rid of the high arse lol

good idea? what do you think?

The spacers are a must for any Ibiza. I couldn't even look at mine without them!!! LOL
Be careful with fitting stiffer springs just at one end though, you need to carefully research spring to make sure you don't end up with any sudden changes of character in the handling dept as the front and rear aren't matched up. You could try it as an experiment as the rears are fairly easy to change at least, then have a good blat around somewhere where theres plenty of room in case you discover any nasty habits have set in. This could catch on, maybe a group buy on rear only springs

I've found one of the best cures is to carry a bag of cement in the boot - looks nice and low, keeps the back end a bit more planted and it's cheap! (only joking, would make a hell of a mess of your carpet if the bag split too!!!)

At least your Beezer only looks high at the back, my Fabia looks like it's on stilts, so much so the 17s are coming off as they make it look even worse

wel actually lowering by onny 25mm @ rear can't upset too much

the front look good but back needs work

lowering springs and spacers cheap mod ( if it works!) but i think i need to buy whole set £70-110 & f.o.c fitting.

because if i lower the front and rear both 25-30mm it would still stick up so just lower back ones i'm gonna try!

Not thinking about the low-ness, more the stiffness difference between front and back springs. Worth a try though and you can easily sell a set of lowering springs. Apex are the cheapest decent quality new I've seen.

That looks exceptionally high on the back end of the cupra. Just had a quick look at mine and mine looks more like your second picture. I say the distance between the wheel and arch of the back is roughly the same as the front.

If you look at the windows, look at the angle, compared to mine, look a lot steeper.

(Sorry for the huge image)

Will measure it when i get home unless I can find a tape measure at work. I'll measure front and back from ground to wheel arch, with the car empty.

I was going to lop a coil off the rear springs on my Ibiza with an angle grinder, until I realised the springs taper inwards at top and bottom seats, so wouldn't have fitted properly :)

I also have this problem, got Koni springs - dropped the front nicely - but the back is still poking up, and its getting on my nerves.

Anyone know who supplies some lower springs for the back?
