the diesel you "raced" against was prolly remapped, therefore had similar power figs but a sheet load more torque

200hp is nothing anymore

another spectic, 200bhp is nothing! 1.9tdi 200bhp 300lbs/ft in a car wieghing 1200 nothing i suppose how about still getting 45mpg easily, nothing any more! performance of a 1.8T and ecomony better than a 1.2 nothing i suppose!

sorry knickers in a twist!

Not much point in doing that, that torque calculation within VAGCOM is based off a standard car and isn't to be relied upon anyway.

I'd double check what the MAF is seeing now anyway, if your car isn't revving as freely as it was in trial mode then I'd turn down the timing a little.

So the torque value is useless? This is not changed even though remapped? Irrelevant of which remap you have?

in the scheme of things, a 200hp hatch just isnt deemed quick anymore, it was ten years ago, now you can buy them ten a penny.

the game has moved on, 200mph car for under £65k these days (M5)

part of the remap process used by most obd tuners changes the preset torque tables that the ECU bases that calculation off, rendering the figure irrelevant

300bhp+ is the new king of benchmarks for the hot hatch.

Never forget though that having it is one thing, being able to drive it well and put the power down is something else (remember the Fiesta ST beat the LCR's time round Anglesey test track - 5th Gear ;) )

shut it you and you bloody great big BHP's ;) !!!

Maybe the figure for the new year should be based on bhp/tonne?

yes that would be good... for me too :)
ibiza is shedding all sorts of weight.

down to 1000Kg and 400bhp

yeah - I'd try that again now he's not got his timing a little too high.

maxes the turbo out & holds boost nicely :)
